Effective date: July 4, 2026 · Orelia LLC
Escape the Matrix ("the game") is developed and published by Orelia LLC ("we", "us"). This policy explains what data the game handles, why, and the choices you have. The short version: no account or sign-up is required, we never see your name or email, we don't sell data, and everything the game stores about you can be erased from inside the game.
Optional purchases of in-game currency ("Gold") are handled by Google Play Billing. We receive only an anonymous confirmation of the purchase — never your payment details. All trading, loan and casino-style mechanics in the game use fictional in-game currency only; nothing can be wagered, won or cashed out for real money.
The game uses Google services to operate: Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Analytics, Crashlytics) and Google AdMob. Their handling of data is described in Google's Privacy Policy and Firebase's Privacy documentation. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with anyone beyond these processors.
Game progress is kept for as long as you play. You can erase everything at any time from inside the game: Profile → Settings → ERASE EVERYTHING — this wipes your local save. To also have your cloud save and leaderboard entry deleted, email us at dardan@orelia.io and we will remove them within 30 days. Analytics and crash data are retained by Google for limited periods (typically 90 days to 14 months) and then deleted automatically.
The game is intended for players aged 13 and over and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided data, contact us and we will delete it.
All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) and stored on Google's infrastructure.
Depending on where you live (e.g. EEA/UK GDPR, California CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or object to the processing of your data. Because our data is keyed to an anonymous ID, the simplest way to exercise these rights is the in-game erase function or an email to us.
If this policy changes materially we will update it here and note it in the game's release notes.
